Email tag of Alternate Reviewers Suggested by a Declining Reviewer plus Automatic Notification of the Suggested Reviewers

When a declining Reviewer recommends an alternate reviewer(s) there should be a way to pull that information into an email that would go to the editor letting him/her know who was recommended. We of course can copy the editors on a reviewer decline, or send them a separate message about it, but there is no way to easily let them know alternate reviewers were suggested when the original invited reviewer declined or who those alternate reviewers are. It would be extremely helpful if an email could be set up to automatically send to the editors when such a recommendation came in. I think that concept would nicely follow with another Idea on this site: Different Email for when a Reviewer Declines Invitation but Suggests Alternate Reviewers. Even if an automatic email cannot be created, at least if there as a tag that could be added to a manual email that a Admin could use so if they see there isn't enough reviewers agreed but one of the declining reviewers recommended others then they could send an email to the editor that not only tells them someone made a recommendation but pulls in the infomation of who was recommmended. We can copy and paste that information but it would be much more efficient for a tag to do the work.

Yes - this is exactly what we need -  a tag that we can add that will send suggested alternative reviewers to the Editor with the reviewer declined email.

I like the idea of having an editable tag with the suggested reviewers, rather than an automated message that goes to the editor.  Sometimes the suggestions are not currently eligible to review, as they are reviewing another manuscript, or for another reason.

I strongly agree with this useful suggestion.
