Institutions: controlled list at account creation
Is it possible to allow publishers to opt to provide a controlled list of institutions for users to pick from at account creation or when adding reviewers on the fly? For example the Ringgold database could be used, where each institution has a unique identifier, in the same way that FundRef has been incorporated for entering Funding Institutions. This would be really helpful for gathering data about submissions from a particular institution as users often mis-spell institution names or represent the name in different ways (for example using abbreviations) .
