Smart Phone app

The editors are traveling continuously and a smart phone app would be helful to manage decisions, invitations and assignements. "I have done editor tasks such as  reviewer assignments and paper decisions on a smart phone, it was VERY cumbersome. A dedicated app would definitely be widely appreciated by our AE community. I absolutely support this and am willing to push for it wherever it makes sense."- JLT

    To be honest, an App that just gives a screen showing submission status. It would save all the emails I get.

    For the past five years, I've used an iPod Touch (an iPhone without the telephone) function to manage submissions in S1M while traveling.  ScholarOne tells me that they don't support that use, but my experience is that it works. 

     

    Obviously, it's not a convenient as using a computer, but now that I'm retired, I refuse to schlep a laptop through airport security.

    While we can appreciate the desire for a dedicated mobile app we have taken the approach of making the site mobile capable via responsive design.
