Make it possible to extend revision deadline on archived papers
Currently, when the option to revise a manuscript has expired and once the files for this manuscript have been archived, it is not possible to extend the revision due date, unless the files are unarchived. I think this should be changed so that it is possible to extend the revision due date even when the files have been archived (without the need to unarchive and the associated cost). Even when the original files are no longer available, the author could at least then submit the revision properly.
