FundRef Improvements
I would like to see more flexibility / configurability regarding the FundRef setup. Currently, all you can do is switch it on with a tick box in the configuration, and then it appears on the first submission step (Type, Title and Abstract). Also, when you want to add some related custom questions (like a Yes/No question as to whether the author has received any funding, and some instructions for using the search function to locate the funding institution), they are displayed under / after the FundRef search box and list of article funders, and it would be much nicer if we could display them above / before the FundRef bits. Also, the labels on the FundRef items cannot be changed. So, I would like to be able to: move the FundRef box and list of funders to a different submission step determine the position of these items in relation to custom questions change the labels on these items
