Allow deletion of multiple manuscript files at once

At the moment authors/admins have to delete each manuscript file individually if they need to replace it. There can often be 70+ files on a paper (especially the Latex ones) so this is very time-consuming and potentially error-prone. It would be good if eg there was a tick box to select the required files, and a 'delete all' option.

    Hello Sven and Team! I hope you are all well! I would still very much like to have the ability to delete multiple files at once on the manuscript files tab. Surely it should not be too hard to add a tick box for each file to select them, and then a 'Delete all selected' button or something along those lines? Many thanks, Julia

    Hi Julia,

    Hope all is well. Thanks for the comment. We released functionality to remove all files as a part of the submission process in late 2019 but have not introduced that same functionality in the admin center. We will keep this idea open so any additional votes will apply to making a similar update in the Admin Center. As always, we appreciate the community feedback.

    Hi Sven/ScholarOne Team! Are there any updates on this? An option to select and bulk delete files on the Manuscript Files tab would save so much time and frustration.

    Appreciate the suggestion. We're working on a redesign to the file upload step that allows for the deletion of multiple files at one time. Hoping to have out by EOY 2019.
