Non-duplicate accounts
Currently in the system there is no way for me to mark what appears to be a duplicate account as not a duplicate. For example, I might have 3 John Smiths who I know are all different people but will always appear when I search for duplicates. It would be helpful if there was a way to mark and hide accounts that you know are not a duplicate so that you only see the true duplicates when you search for them, but if a fourth John Smith appeared they would all reappear so you could check their details. I hope this makes some sort of sense!
We use a green user account flag to identify known 'homonymous' users.
I put a comment in the profile for such cases. But it only shows up for the journal site which I am currently in. It should show across all our journal sites which share the same people database.
