"Freezing" the author list between revisions
It would be very useful if journals had the option to have their sites "freeze" or "lock" the authorship list between revisions. Authors can easily add an additional co-author and not mention it or explain why they've added someone. This places pressure on the adminstrators to check between versions and ensure that no one has been added or deleted without a reason given. It would tremendously helpful if a journal could choose to lock the author list after submission; and any additional author edits (to add or remove) could only be completed from the admin center. This may not suit all journals, but having the option would be great.
