Display author centre count as numerical figure to eliminate manual counting
If SC1 displayed the author centre count as a numerical figure on the manuscript details tab, it would speed up the following verifing the number of authors in a manuscript matches the author centre number establishing if there is need for an author contribution email Currently these are manually counted in each manuscript. In the author portal, it does give the number as you add co-authors, so maybe this order number could be carried through onto the submission screen. Maybe this could go under the words "Authors and Institutions" on the manuscript information tab?
