Email Templates - Need added features such as bold, italic, underline
Having the ability to include simple editing features in the email templates, such as bold, italic and underline (and text color would be nice, too) would help make our communications with users less sterile. In particular, when we send broadcast emails to our users (announcements, notifications, etc.), we would like to make the text stand out. Currently, I am able to add html code to the text in the "configure instructions" areas of the site, and I attempted to do the same in an email template (for example: Hello! to italicize), but it simply shows the code in the actual email. When can we begin to make emails ~look~ as good as the site from which they come? Thanks!
Hi All,
This was released in the 4.26.1 release yesterday. Any questions please reach out to our support team at s1help@clarivate.com
Thanks!

Hi All, Appreciate all the comments and passion for HTML emails. Totally agree! This functionality is actually available, but is currently in beta with a few known issues which are being resolved in February with the 4.26.1 release. Once the February 2020 (4.26.1) release occurs contact your Engagement Manager to activate HTML emails. Thanks!

This is very much needed and long overdue! I support this!

Absolutely supported.
Sometimes we need to highlight some parts of the messages and what we do now here is to use CAPS, which doesn't have the same effect intended.
These features would make our work easier and the mesages will have a modern look.

I support this enhancement and agree that our emails look out-of-date. Would like to see editing features mentioned (especially color and highlighting)

Very much support this suggestion.
Being able to add html code to the email templates to format their appearance would make them easier to read and make it more likely for instructions to be followed.
The default format is so poor that I have some emails sent to my email so that I can sort it out before forwarding on to the authors. It's a big waste of my time but otherwise it looks terrible.
I particular would like to be able to embed links, make bullet points and format the style of text.

I fully support this. The e-mails in S1, look terrible quite frankly. They are years out of date and behind the times. We must be able to do more to configure these.
