Given the intended use of the email opt in/ opt out account information question (to capture users opting in/out of email communication and the related legal considerations), it seems problematic for all publishers that there is no way to determine what question text users responded to when answering the question in the case of site transfers. This prevents publishers from determining what users responded to when answering the question and therefore whether users can accurately be considered opted in to receive email communications. It would be ideal to be able to version this question and be able to capture the history.
