Idea: If someone types in a space before the first text character or after the final text character, SC1 could flag this to ask the author to remove additional spaces or simply automatically remove the spaces.
Benefit: This will help with searches for author accounts as the spaces are not recognised without a *. For example, “Wu “ would only come up if you typed in “Wu “ or “Wu*”, but not if you type in “Wu”. This will also help to prevent duplicate accounts or incomplete search results when an AE is looking for reviewers. It will also reduce the number of login failures. Additionally this will tidy up cover sheets and improve general readability of the compiled PDF for reviewers.
