Users of Google Chrome often have problems with its translation tool that automatically translates ScholarOne to their preferred language.
Tasks such as file upload, in particular, receive error messages due to the translation tool being active.
The problem is that the system doesn't give any feedback about the problem being related to the translation tool (only a general error message), leaving the users confused.
It would be good to have specific error messages suggesting users to disable the translator tool.
As stated, this error is quite common with users of the system, especially the authors, and the correction of this flaw or improvement of the information would be very welcome.

This suggestion is very pertinent. Translations can lead to the omission of mandatory fields, which was the case in our magazine. Thus, submission becomes painful for the author, who is unable to follow.
