The ScholarOne system is configured in such a way that the Editorial Assistant should extend the due date while un-submitting the revised manuscript in S1, if the due date is expired.
This configuration should be changed in S1 since the authors are unable to submit the unsubmitted revised manuscripts if we missed changing the due date while un-submitting the paper and at the end, it is causing more delay in processing the papers.
This configuration should be modified in such a way that the system should not consider the same due date for the unsubmitted revised papers. Please consider this request and help us to implement the same in S1.
This is a great feature for the authors as many authors get annoyed and lose the opportunity to resubmit the revision because of the due date expiry.
