Ringgold for university / institution with department as sub-field

Is it possible for Ringgold or ScholarOne to be set up to split the part that says“ department of X” into the department field, and leave the primary institution name as the first field? Ringgold contains many instances of a blank department field, but a very long string of text in the institution field.

If the Ringgold badge is for the university/institution as a whole and the departments are subsections, this will reduce overlap and provide better reporting and reviewer/author searches.
