Flagging has recently been introduced to a journal that I work on and the idea is to flag redundant/blocked emails so that editors do not invite reviewers for those emails. I have noticed that if a flagged account is then merged with a more recent account, the primary account gains the flag which totally negates the purpose of adding a flag to a redundant account. The more recent account is then flagged as redundant so has to be unflagged again! The flag is also not immediatedly visible when you view the merge screen and is way over to the right of the user details given. Can the flag be moved left adjacent to the user name?
