There are a number of suggestions for improvement in the 'unavailable' feature.
My concern is more general - the purpose of that feature is totally unclear. We have instances of users who declare themselves 'unavailable' for periods that can be as long as four years!. There is obviously a problem when those same individuals then want to submit a paper, can the 'unavailable' specification means that they cannot be sent an invitation.
It seems to me that the instructions that users see should provide a better explanation of what 'unavailable' is intended to mean.
