For revised manuscripts, "(R0)" is displayed next to a reviewer's name in the Referee List if they reviewed a previous version of the manuscript. This implies that they reviewed the original (R0) version, however this may not actually be the case. For example, for a manuscript at the R2 stage, "(R0)" will still appear next to a reviewer's name, even if they only provided a report for the R1 version. It would be very useful if the actual version number (R0, R1, R2, etc.) that the reviewer previously reviewed could be displayed here instead. For manuscripts where a reviewer has reviewed multiple previous versions, it would be sufficient to simply display the number of the most recent version they reviewed.
This would be a great enhancement. Knowing that a reviewer did not review the most recent revision could affect the decision to invite the person to review the most recent revision.
