Listing number of assignments in drop-down menus for admin staff

When using a drop-down menu to assign an admin person to a manuscript, the drop-down menu does not not list the number of assignments next to the names and always shows 0.   In contrast, drop-down menus for editors do show the number of assignments.  It would be very helpful to have the capability to display the number of assignments to admin staff.
