Currently when you click the 'Submit Review' button a confirmation pop-up appears asking if you are ready to submit the review. Once you click 'Yes, submit review' the system checks for required fields and shows a 'Please fix the following issues' error message if some have not been completed.
We have received reviewer feedback that going through the confirmation pop-up box suggested the process was finished, which is misleading if there are required fields that still need to be filled in. We suggest it would be more intuitive to check for answers to required fields when the first 'Submit Review' button is clicked and show the error message at that stage.
