It would be helpful if users could choose to copy their keywords across all accounts within a portal site. Oftentimes, journals/magazines on portal sites have a master list of keywords. Users could simply choose all the keywords from that list that are relevant to their area of expertise and instantly become available in searches across all sites on that portal. Asking users to add account keywords on each publication within the same overarching disciple is a major pain point. This would be a big help in alleviating this and would aid in reviewer searches.
I think this depends on your set-up - we have our keyword list set at portal level, so selected keywords do appear on all sites once you choose them on the first site.
